By Air – Ryanair/Flybe make regular flights from London Stansted, Southampton, Manchester, Newcastle, Birmingham, East Midlands and Liverpool’s John Lennon airports to Angoulême-Cognac, Limoges or La Rochelle. With a flight time of approximately 90 minutes you can leave England in the morning and be in the heart of Charente-Limousin by midday. There is also a special train service from London Stansted to connect you directly with the heart of the City. Hertz rental cars can be booked through Ryanair for collection at the airport. By Road – Travelling by road in France is never a problem with fast motorways and clear roads to connect you quickly to the heart of the country. Calais – La Rochefoucauld (our nearest large town) is 750 km/460 miles with an estimated travel time of 7 hours. By TGV– Fast, regular services run from Paris to Angoulême or to Poitiers. With journey times of 90 minutes, travelling couldn’t be simpler.
